Passion
The first time I took apart a watch was to fix the ones I inherited when my grandfather passed away. A world of micro-mechanics opened up to me that I would grow into a passion unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. A background in technology and finance yielded work products that are largely intangible. But with something mechanical its something tangible. Its something where at the end of a project you hold and wear your efforts. Most importantly, I can see the joy it brings people when they see their old watches brought back to life.
Prior to working on watches, I don’t think I understood what passion actually was. Most watch collectors enjoy the dial aesthetics and how a watch makes them feel. While I do love those things, my first instinct is to crack it open and see how its made. Thats where I really sit back and can appreciate the engineering and craftsmanship of generations prior.
I do hope you find something on the website that connects with you. Selling watch-themed merchandise and the restored watches helps me pay for tools and materials to keep this passion alive.
If you have a watch that you want serviced and/or restored, I’ll be happy to discuss that with you and see if it makes sense for us to work together. I sincerely thank you for looking.
